2008 Topps Star Wars Clone Wars

The 90-card base set covers the feature film that acted as the premiere for the full Clone Wars television series.

The base set is notable for having the first Ahsoka Tano card. Her appearance in the character subset at the start of the checklist is one that commands a significant premium over regular story cards. Captain Rex is another notable trading card debut.

The base set has Foil parallels. Exclusive to hobby and landing approximately one per box, each is serial numbered to 205 copies.

Headlining the inserts are Sketch Cards, which are also a hobby box hit. More than 100 artists contributed to the set including some of the show’s artists. These are noted on the front as part of the design. Dave Filoni, one of the most important figures in the franchise’s television era, contributed a small number of art cards as well.

Among the other inserts are ten Animation Cels, which are 1:6 packs.
